Sprinto pricing: the published rate card, the real cost per year, and why each framework is the cheap part

The short answer: Sprinto publishes a rate card, just not on sprinto.com. Its AWS Marketplace listing, read on 18 September 2026, prices the Starter Platform at $7,500 a year for up to 100 employees and the first compliance framework at $2,000, so the smallest usable Sprinto purchase lists at $9,500 a year. Vendr's contract data the same day puts the median Sprinto deal at $15,000, with recorded contracts between $13,167 and $16,000.

Nearly every Sprinto pricing article says the opposite: that the pricing page sits behind a password and nothing is public. The password part is true. The rest is not.

Sprinto's published rate card

Vendors that sell through AWS Marketplace have to list their contract dimensions with a price on each, because the buyer pays through an AWS bill instead of a sales order. Sprinto's listing has two dimensions on a 12-month contract:

Two details in that wording matter. The framework line is an add-on, so you cannot buy a framework without the platform underneath it. And "starting at $2000 each" is a floor, which means a framework outside the core five, or one bought at a larger company size, can cost more. For a US startup buying SOC 2 as its first framework, $9,500 is the published list number to start from.

How much does Sprinto cost at one, two and three frameworks?

At the published rate and under 100 employees, Sprinto costs $9,500 a year for one framework, $11,500 for two and $13,500 for three, before any negotiation. The numbers that matter are how slowly that grows next to Drata, the other vendor that publishes a per-framework price.

Drata's figures come from its own AWS Marketplace card: a $25,000 Platform Fee for a 100 FTE organization and $7,500 for each framework. Drata also sells a separate $15,000 Foundation package for companies with 1 to 50 employees, so a very small team comparing the two should use that line instead. This is the axis almost every comparison gets wrong. Roundups sort these products by company size. The number that actually moves the bill is how many frameworks you will carry in three years. An extra framework costs $2,000 at Sprinto and $7,500 at Drata, a 3.75 times difference on an identical purchase, and a US company selling into enterprise or healthcare buyers is often asked for ISO 27001 or HIPAA soon after its first SOC 2 report.

Why most Sprinto pricing guides overstate the framework cost

The most repeated figure in third-party write-ups is that each framework beyond the base plan adds roughly $3,000 to $8,000 a year. The published line is $2,000. Some guides may be describing frameworks outside the core set, or larger companies, and "starting at" leaves room for both. But for the five frameworks Sprinto names, the published starting price is below the bottom of the range those guides give, and at the top of their range they are four times too high.

The contract data has drifted too. Guides still quote a Vendr range of $11,500 to $19,300 from six or seven purchases. Read on 18 September 2026, Vendr shows a $15,000 median with contracts between $13,167 and $16,000. That band spans barely 1.2 times from floor to ceiling, where Vanta, Drata and Secureframe each span four to eight times.

The rate card explains the narrow band. At list, one to three frameworks spans only $9,500 to $13,500, so contract values bunch tightly whatever the framework count. It is the pricing model showing through, not a vendor that refuses to negotiate. The $15,000 median sitting above even the three-framework list price suggests a typical deal carries something beyond the card, most likely headcount over 100 or additional modules, so ask what is in the number before comparing it.

Is Sprinto cheaper than Vanta, Drata and Secureframe?

Yes, on both published list prices and recorded contracts. Here is the whole segment, with list prices from each vendor's AWS Marketplace card and medians from Vendr.

One caution on the Vanta row. Its packages are quoted at 1 to 20 employees, while the other three are quoted at up to 100, so the rows are not like for like. What is not in the Sprinto price

The rate card covers the platform and the framework. Four costs sit outside it.

The audit itself. Sprinto prepares you for a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audit; a CPA firm or certification body performs it and bills you directly. Budget for it as a separate line from day one.

Headcount above 100. The Starter Platform line stops at 100 employees. Past that, the published card no longer applies and you are in a sales-quoted conversation.

The work the platform points at. Automated evidence collection shows you which controls are failing; it does not fix them. SOC 2's change management criteria, for example, want proof that every production change was reviewed and shipped through a controlled process, which is far easier to evidence when your team can deploy through a logged pipeline with zero downtime than when releases happen by hand.

Refund terms. Sprinto's listing sends refund questions to its support team rather than stating a policy. Drata's listing is blunter: all orders are non-cancellable and fees are non-refundable. Ask Sprinto for its terms in writing before you sign a multi-year order.

Who should buy Sprinto, and where it stops

Sprinto is the price leader for a US startup or small SaaS company that needs a first SOC 2 report to close enterprise deals and expects to add one or two more security frameworks. If you know you will carry three frameworks within three years, the published cards put roughly $34,000 a year between Sprinto and Drata at list, which is money that buys an audit, a pen test and a good part of a security hire.
