NAVEX competitors and NAVEX Global alternatives with what each rival costs a year

NAVEX is four products sold as one: the EthicsPoint hotline, PolicyTech policy management, compliance training and an integrated risk module. Its competitors are different companies for each of those four, so a single ranked list of "NAVEX alternatives" is the wrong tool for the decision. Below is the map by product, recorded contract data read on 27 September 2026, the two rivals that publish full price lists, and what signed public orders show NAVEX charges.

Short answer

NAVEX's main competitors are Convercent (now OneTrust), Ethico, EQS and Case IQ for the hotline; PowerDMS, PolicyStat and ConvergePoint for policy management; Traliant and LRN for training; and SAI360, Diligent and LogicGate for risk. Vendr puts NAVEX's median contract at $7,651 a year, against $3,833 for Convercent and $6,905 for Traliant. NAVEX earns its price when you want all four under one contract. Buying one piece from it means paying for a relationship built around the bundle, and that is where the cheaper specialists win.

NAVEX competitors, mapped by the product you are replacing

The review sites list NAVEX competitors in one column: SAI360 next to a hotline vendor next to a training library. Nobody buys that way. A school district replacing its hotline and a bank replacing its policy system will never shortlist the same product, so start from the row that matches your contract line.

NAVEX product Real competitors How NAVEX compares on it
EthicsPoint hotline and case management Convercent (OneTrust Ethics), Ethico, EQS Integrity Line, WhistleBlower Security, FaceUp, AllVoices, Lighthouse (now Mitratech) The default choice for US audit committees and the hardest line to replace, because case history and reporter trust move with it. Rivals compete on price and on web-first reporting.
Investigations Case IQ (formerly i-Sight), AllVoices Case management inside EthicsPoint is adequate for routing reports. Teams running HR and fraud investigations at volume often outgrow it and buy Case IQ beside it.
PolicyTech policy management PowerDMS (NEOGOV), PolicyStat (RLDatix), ConvergePoint, Mitratech Solid versioning, review cycles and attestations. PowerDMS and PolicyStat both publish full price lists, so this is the one NAVEX line you can benchmark to the dollar.
Compliance training Traliant, LRN A large library bundled with the hotline. Traliant is the common swap for harassment prevention and code of conduct courses, at a $6,905 recorded median.
Integrated risk management SAI360, Diligent, LogicGate, Onspring The least common reason to buy NAVEX. Dedicated GRC suites go deeper on control testing and cost three to seven times more.
Regulatory change monitoring ComplianceOfficer, plus the regulatory content feeds sold inside GRC suites Not a NAVEX product. PolicyTech stores and distributes your policies, but someone still has to notice when the rule behind a policy changes.

NAVEX pricing against its competitors in recorded contracts

None of the hotline vendors prints a price. The figures below are medians and ranges from recorded buyer contracts on the Vendr marketplace, read on the dates shown. They are reported outcomes, not quotes. Read the last column before comparing any two rows, because a vendor-wide median mixes very different purchases.

Vendor Median a year Recorded range What the record covers
Convercent (OneTrust)$3,833$3,124 to $5,140Helpline and case management, 27 Sep 2026
Traliant$6,905$3,222 to $33,132Compliance training; buyers save 19% on average, 27 Sep 2026
PowerDMS$7,233$619 to $18,423Policy management; a very thin record, use the price list below instead
NAVEX$7,651$1,430 to $28,151Hotline, policy, training and risk combined; 63 purchases, about 15% average saving, 27 Sep 2026
Mitratech (incl. Lighthouse)$10,386$6,475 to $18,907Every Mitratech product combined, 27 Sep 2026
AllVoices$15,000$5,572 to $38,089Employee relations reporting and cases; 35 purchases, 27 Sep 2026
Diligent$26,250$5,550 to $48,263Mostly board portal and GRC modules, 22 Sep 2026
Case IQ (i-Sight)$31,000$9,867 to $41,400Investigation case management, 24 Sep 2026
Onspring$33,808$9,972 to $55,810GRC platform, 21 Sep 2026
LogicGate$53,784$12,294 to $136,130GRC platform, 21 Sep 2026

Ethico, EQS Integrity Line, WhistleBlower Security and FaceUp have no usable recorded contract data. FaceUp publishes its model instead of its prices: a platform fee plus the capabilities you pick, priced on headcount, with no charge per report and up to 30 percent off for annual billing.

The honest read of this table: NAVEX is not the expensive option in its own category. It sits mid-pack, below every GRC suite it gets compared to. What makes a NAVEX renewal hurt is not the rate, it is the shape of the contract, covered in detail on the NAVEX pricing page: the subscription metric only ratchets up, and the bundle discount prices every module against the others.

The public price lists and what NAVEX and its rivals charge per employee

Vendor medians tell you what a typical deal looks like. Price lists and signed government orders tell you what a deal your size should cost. Three of the rivals below are public because they sell to government buyers, who have to publish what they pay.

Hotline

NAVEX EthicsPoint at $0.59 to $2.22 per employee

Signed US public-sector orders put the hotline line at $10,053.35 for 17,000 employees at San Diego Unified ($0.59 each), $16,390.91 for 21,600 at San Bernardino County ($0.76) and $4,433.70 for 2,000 at Liberty Public Schools in Missouri ($2.22). Small organizations pay nearly four times more per head. Federal records show a year of NAVEX hotline service at the SEC for $8,925, and Convercent handling the FEC inspector general hotline for $13,500 across five years.

Policy

PowerDMS at $5,439.50 a year to start

NEOGOV's 2026 Texas DIR price book lists PowerDMS Policy Professional by FTE band: $5,439.50 for 0 to 9 employees, $12,575.25 for 100 to 124, $48,029.75 for 1,000 to 1,249 and $209,649.60 above 9,000, plus setup from $2,535.75. Public entities outside Texas can use the same contract. The full breakdown and three signed police orders are on our PowerDMS pricing page.

Policy

PolicyStat licence bands from 1,671 pounds

RLDatix publishes PolicyStat's price list on the UK government's G-Cloud 15 framework (January 2026): 1,671 pounds a year for up to 25 licences, 3,341 for 250, 8,855 for 1,000 and 53,964 for 10,000, with implementation at 230 pounds an hour. US hospitals pay in dollars and on their own paper, but the band structure is the same. Our PolicyStat pricing breakdown pairs it with US federal purchase records.

Which NAVEX alternative fits which situation

People leave NAVEX for four reasons that come up again and again. Each points at a different replacement, and one of them points at keeping NAVEX and changing the contract.

You only use the hotline

This is the cleanest swap. Convercent's recorded median is about half of NAVEX's, and Ethico, EQS and WhistleBlower Security all sell the hotline as their main product. Two things to check before signing: that phone intake is staffed around the clock by people, not an answering service, and that you can export your full case history out of EthicsPoint, because your audit committee will ask about prior matters.

You need policy management and nothing else

Price PowerDMS and PolicyStat from their own lists first, then ask NAVEX to quote PolicyTech on its own, outside the bundle. Watch the metering unit: PolicyStat sells licence bands and you buy the top of the band, so 101 users pay for 250. Our policy management software pricing guide covers per-employee against per-module pricing in this category.

You bought the bundle and use half of it

Leaving is often more expensive than renegotiating. NAVEX's own pages quote a bundle saving of up to 30 percent, which means dropping a module reprices the rest. Ask for a line-by-line quote in writing, 90 days before the renewal notice window, and compare each line against the specialist in the table above. Buyers average about 15 percent off NAVEX's opening number.

Your policies keep going stale

No policy platform fixes this, including NAVEX's. PolicyTech will route a review every twelve months, but it does not know that FinCEN, the SEC or a state privacy regulator changed the rule in month four. That is the gap ComplianceOfficer covers: it watches the regulators, explains each change in plain language and flags the policy it lands on, for $149 a month or $894 a year on the pricing page. It sits beside a policy tool rather than replacing one. See policy attestation software for how attestation and change tracking fit together.

Fairly stated

What NAVEX does that its competitors do not

  • EthicsPoint is one of the most widely deployed ethics hotlines in the US, with phone intake, web reporting and case management that audit committees already recognize
  • One contract can carry the hotline, PolicyTech policy management, compliance training and third-party risk, which suits procurement teams consolidating suppliers
  • Signed public order forms show the hotline line itself is cheap per employee, well under a dollar at 17,000 to 21,600 employees

Fairly stated

Where buyers start looking elsewhere

  • The metric only ratchets up: licenses and employees can be added at then-prevailing prices, and reductions earn no refund under the master agreement
  • The bundle discount of up to 30 percent is also the lock-in, because dropping one module reprices the rest
  • A hotline tells you about misconduct inside the company. It does not tell you when SOX, BSA/AML, sanctions or privacy rules change outside it

Questions buyers ask about NAVEX competitors

Who are NAVEX's main competitors?

It depends on which NAVEX product you are replacing. For the EthicsPoint hotline: Convercent (now OneTrust), Ethico, EQS Integrity Line, WhistleBlower Security, FaceUp, Case IQ and AllVoices. For PolicyTech: PowerDMS, PolicyStat, ConvergePoint and Mitratech. For training: Traliant and LRN. For risk: SAI360, Diligent, LogicGate and Onspring. No single rival replaces the whole bundle.

How much does NAVEX cost compared to its competitors?

Vendr puts NAVEX's median annual contract at $7,651, against $3,833 for Convercent, $6,905 for Traliant, $10,386 for Mitratech, $15,000 for AllVoices and $31,000 for Case IQ. NAVEX sits mid-pack. The spread comes from the bundle: the hotline alone runs well under a dollar per employee at large organizations, and contracts grow when policy and training ride along.

What is the best alternative to NAVEX EthicsPoint?

For a like-for-like hotline, Convercent, Ethico, EQS Integrity Line and WhistleBlower Security are the direct alternatives, and Convercent's recorded median is about half of NAVEX's. If investigations are the real workload, Case IQ is stronger on case management and costs more. Confirm staffed 24/7 phone intake before you switch; many web-first tools do not include it.

What is the best alternative to NAVEX PolicyTech?

PowerDMS and PolicyStat are the two with public price lists. PowerDMS starts at $5,439.50 a year for under 10 employees on NEOGOV's Texas DIR contract, and PolicyStat's UK government list starts at 1,671 pounds a year for up to 25 licences. Hospitals tend to shortlist PolicyStat; police departments and public agencies tend to shortlist PowerDMS. The US federal record behind PolicyTech is on our PolicyTech pricing page.

Is Lighthouse Services part of NAVEX?

No. Lighthouse Services is a hotline provider that now sits under Mitratech. As of 27 September 2026 its pricing page redirects to Mitratech's ethics hotline page, so an old Lighthouse per-employee price list is out of date. Mitratech's recorded median across all its products is $10,386 a year.

What is the difference between NAVEX and ComplianceOfficer?

NAVEX runs the ethics program: hotline, cases, policy distribution and training. ComplianceOfficer watches the regulations those policies must satisfy, across SOX, BSA/AML, sanctions, privacy and the security frameworks, explains each change in plain language and flags the policy it lands on. One hears about misconduct inside the company, the other tells you a rule outside it moved.
